Goals
There are different types of goals that you will need to achieve in any game
- Primary - things that determine if you win or lose
- Secondary - important goals that affect your ability to get to the primary goal
- Tertiary - small goals that are a bonus and may assist in more important goals

The goals tell you what needs to be accomplished, and the strategy is the method to achieve it.

- Defensive play ( defend a particular position )
- The end of the game (closing moves)
Rationale
Rationale is the reason for your goal or method. It is the logic that determines why a strategy is good or bad.

Factors
Factors affecting our decisions and success often rely on our abilities:
Factors may also rely on our ability to make a good guess based on mathematical probability
Factors that are reasonably out of our control and are completely unpredictable
- Strength/Endurance
- Aim/Accuracy
- Reflexes/Timing
